Quote of the day

Broad acres are patent of nobility and no man but feels more of a man in the world if he have a bit of ground that he can call his own. However small it is on the surface, it is four thousand miles deep; and that is a very handsome property.
~Charles Dudley Warner (1829-1900)

Great quote. Sometimes I have felt I had to dig most of that 4000 miles to get the rocks out in my former garden, lol!

Hi, Beth, oh, I seem to remember an abundance of rocks in Grove Park! It was tough. My favorite thing in that garden were the chipmunks!
